GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION BY THE PARTICIPANT

In the event of cancellation by the participant, the following cancellation fees will be deducted depending on the date of cancellation:

  • cancellation before 7 March 2025: no cancellation fee
  • cancellation between 7 March and 7 May 2025: 50% cancellation fee deducted from expenses incurred
  • from 8 May 2025: 100% of the expenses incurred will be retained.

IMAGE RIGHTS

Any participation in the World Medical and Health Games implies the automatic transfer of the participant’s and accompanying persons’ image rights to the benefit of the organiser for its promotional documents.

CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT

If, for reasons of force majeure (war, strikes, riots, natural disasters, epidemics, etc.), the JMMS cannot take place, CSO will not be held responsible for the sums already paid. In this case, CSO will do its utmost to ensure that these sums are retained so that they can be reused for the organisation of the Games on other dates. If, for reasons beyond CSO’s control, the events were to be definitively cancelled, the participants already registered would have to bear, pro rata, the sums incurred by CSO in addition to the sums already acquired by CSO.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These special terms and conditions of sale refer to the legislative provisions in force and in particular to articles 95 to 103 of decree 94490 of 15 June 1994, which constitute our general terms and conditions of sale. It is expressly stated, in accordance with the provisions of article 97 of the aforementioned decree, that the information appearing on this registration form may be subject to certain conditions of sale.

PAYMENT

Registration can be paid by credit card, French cheque in euros payable in France or bank transfer under the following conditions: payment of an initial deposit of 50% at the time of registration and payment of the balance before 7 April 2025/ Registrations sent after 7 April 2025 must be paid in a single instalment. Registrations not paid in full will not be validated.

JURISDICTION

In the event of a dispute, the Commercial Court of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction.
