Football at Medigames
Among the 21 sports organised for the 45th World Medical and Health Games, football occupies a special place. Each year, the football competitions represent over 30 teams from more than 18 different countries.
The Medigames offer 5 different tournaments
- A 11-a-side Classic tournament (no age limit),
- A 11-a-side Master tournament (+ 42 years old),
- A 7-a-side Classic Women tournament (no age limit)
- A 7-a-side Classic Men tournament (no age limit)
- A 7-a-side Legend Men tournament (+ 50 years old)

Days of tourmaments
The football competition programme is organised as follows: each team will play 1 match per day.
- 1st Day: arrival of participants and draw for the various tournaments,
- 2nd Day: Beginning of the 4 tournaments
- To 2nd from 5th Day: Group phase
- 6 & 7th Days: Final phase
- 8th Day (Evening): prize-giving ceremony
